Dr. Erin Breen

Dr. Erin Breen attended the University of Virginia for her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Afterward, she received advanced training in periodontology with a Master of Medicine Sciences degree in oral biology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

An inquisitive scholar, Dr. Breen is known for her extensive research at the Forsyth Institute, studying the mechanisms surrounding the resolution of inflammation and focusing on the oral-systemic wellness and the connection between chronic inflammatory diseases and type II diabetes. An active member of the International Association of Dental Research and American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Breen has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine since September 2018, teaching periodontics and implant surgery. In her free time, Dr. Breen loves spending time reading, traveling, and cooking.
